Munnar Kerala :
Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1,600 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once in every twelve years, will bloom next in 2018. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India, Anamudi, which towers over 2,695 m. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking.
Ooty TamilNadu :
Ooty was originally known as Ootacamund which is now obscure. Ooty is situated in the Nilgiri hills, also known as The Blue Mountains. It is unknown whether this name comes from the blue smoky haze given off by the eucalyputus trees that cover the area, or because of the kurunji flower, which blooms every twelve years giving the slopes a bluish tinge. Ooty served as the summer capital of the Madras Presidency and other small kingdoms, much visited by British during the colonial days, and as on today, a popular summer and weekend resort. Ooty draws a large number of tourist's every year. The hill station itself is a land of picturesque picnic spots.
Kodaikanal Tamilnadu :
Kodaikanal is one of the most popular hill resorts in India. It is a charming hill station, stands amidst sylvan beauty on the southern crest of the upper Palani Hills near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. Mahabalipuram Chennai Tamilnadu :

Located in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu, the temple city of Mahabalipuram was flourishing port town of the Pallava rulers of south India. SUBRAMANYA - Set amidst the beauty of nature in village Subramanya is the Subramanya temple. Here Lord Subrahmanya is worshipped as the lord of all serpents. The epics relate that the divine serpent Vasuki and other serpents found refuge under Lord Subrahmanya when threatened by Garuda.
MANGALORE - The Mangaladevi Temple is at Bolara in the city of Mangalore, India, situated about three km southwest of the city centre. The temple dates back to the ninth century. The Goddess Mangaladevi gives the city of Mangalore its name. She is the main deity of the Mangaladevi Temple at Bolar, Mangalore.
